DELF
DELF A1, A2, B1 and B2 exams and diplomas
DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) are official diplomas issued by the French Ministry of Education. They permit the certification of French language abilities. Therefore these diplomas allow you to highlight your skills in French for personal, scholars, university or work purposes.
Please note that DELF is oriented toward an adult audience. For children, there is the DELF Prim and for teenagers, the DELF junior version and the DELF for schools. There is also a DELF especially targeting the working system: the DELF Pro which is more oriented for professional purposes.

Within the DELF, there are 4 different levels: A1, A2, B1 and B2. Level A1 is the most accessible and level B2 is the most advanced. Above B2 level, there is the DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) with two more levels: C1 and C2. Thus DELF is divided into 4 independents diplomas each linked to 4 levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
