DELF Prim A2 is based on the same principle of DELF Prim A1: it recognizes the linguistic competency of a basic user, considered as a social actor. The candidate can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring the most common polite phrases and exchanges of information. This examination benefits from a very positive evaluation which is not made to sanction but to highlight the French learning.

The subjects approached relate to the child's familiar environment. The support materials have a strong focus on play. They have been prepared by an illustrator of children's books. The candidate's test booklet, which is in color, is very well conceived. It contains beautiful drawings and images. The instructions are clear and perfectly explain. Each exercise start by an illustrated example which allows the candidate to well understand what he/she has to do. The children have a lot of time to do each exercise.



​Thus, everything is done to allow children to take DELF Prim A2 exam in excellent conditions. The aim is to obtain a very high success rate that allow children to feel highlight in their French learning process.

DELF Prim A2 examination is based on level A2 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Writing of two brief texts (friendly letter or message):

Three parts test:
   1. Guided conversation: talk about yourself (Approximately 2 minutes)
   2. Followed monologue: express him/herself on familiar subjects (Approximately 3 minutes)
   3. Interactive exercise: interact with somebody (Approximately 3 minutes)
