​DELF Prim A1 highlights the first knowledges in French for children between 7 and 11 years old who are in elementary school. DELF Prim A1 recognizes basic knowledge. It is the most basic level at which a language is used, called the "discovery" stage. At this stage, the learner can interact in a simple way: he/she can speak about him/herself and his/her immediate environment. This examination benefits from a very positive evaluation which is not made to sanction but to highlight the French learning.

The subjects approached relate to the child's familiar environment. The support materials have a strong focus on play. They have been prepared by an illustrator of children's books. The candidate's test booklet, which is in color, is very well done. It contains beautiful drawings and images. The instructions are clear and perfectly explain. Each exercise start by an illustrated example wich allows the candidate to well understand what he/she has to do. The children have a lot of time to do each exercise.



Thus, everything is done to allow children to take DELF Prim A1 exam in excellent conditions. The aim is to obtain a very high success rate that allow children to feel highlight in their French learning process.

DELF Prim A1 examination is based on level A1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

   2. Asking for and giving information: tell and exchange about an event (Approximately 3 minutes)
