Diplôme DALF C2
C2 is the highest level of the CEFR and DALF C2 is the highest diploma of French as a foreign language.

C2 users' proficiency in the language is illustrated by precision, appropriateness and fluency of expression. C2 candidates are capable of using the language for academic and advanced-level purposes.

DALF C2 examination is based on level C2 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).


​​Description of DALF C2 examination

For the DALF C2, the exam format changes compared to previous levels. As you can see in the under table, some skills are linked:
  • listening and speaking,
  • reading and writing.

Listening and Speaking
Three parts test:
- write-up the contents of a recording (played twice)
- personal development based on the problem given in the recording
- debate with the examiners.

preparation : 1 hour

Reading and Writing
Writing a structured text (article, editorial, report, speech, etc) based on several documents totalling approximately 2,000 words.
